Our 2009 age group has two teams; Purples and Blacks.  Our Purple team plays in Division 1 of the GADYFL.  As an age group many of these players began their footballing journey together at fun fours; progressing to super fives, 7 a-side football and now eagerly awaiting their next footballing adventure.

HEAD COACH

Michael Millen:  Michael has been dedicated in his involvement with the development of the players at this age group; involved with many of them at fun fours and progressing through the player pathway with them.  Michael oversees the 2 teams at this age level. 

Qualifications:  SFA badges up to and including Coaching in the Game.  With the 1.2 youth/adult badges also under his belt. Mental Health in Scottish Football. First Aid Certified.  Children's Wellbeing in Scottish Football. Sports Scotland COVID compliance certificate.

TEAM COACH - PURPLES 

Jim McGarrity:  Jim has been with the Purples team since their super fives days, a dedicated and committed coach who truly enjoys the game.  

Qualifications:  SFA badges up to and including Coaching in the Game.  Children's Wellbeing in Scottish Football.  Sports Scotland COVID compliance certificate.

Darren Beautiman: Darren has been involved in grassroots football for a number of years, previously coaching older groups before joining our group.

Qualifications: SFA badges up to and including Coaching in the Game.  Children's Wellbeing in Scottish Football.  Sports Scotland COVID compliant.

PARENT REP

Lorraine Burton:  Lorraine has been parent rep for this group since the fun four days; responsible for the collection of fees; fundraising activities and the general administrative duties involved with the age group.

Qualifications:  Children's Wellbeing in Scottish Football.  Managing Children's Wellbeing.  Mental Health in Scottish Football.  First Aid Certified.  SFA badges completed to level 1.3. Sports Scotland COVID compliant.
